My interest in science had not developed until I finished middle school. As I was learning biology and studying the complex functions of living organisms, I felt a joy to learn about my surrondings. The more I learned chemistry, biology, and physics, I felt the need to question more about the world around me. These studies helped lead my passion for chemistry and later led to my wants of career in pharmacology and research. I was little when I saw my parents in pain from debilitating diseases, their suffering had pushed me to understand disease and medicine for them.
