My name is Doreen Rota and I am a Tibetan student attending New Explorations into Science, Technology, and Math High School (NEST+m). I joined SMRI because it seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to expose myself to research and advanced science. I am highly invested in learning about the endless scientific concepts and discoveries through in-depth experiments. From my previous experiences, I have garnered skills in computer science and mathematics which I hope to implement in my time at SMRI!
