My name is Sabiha Tafader, and I attend Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. I love science because I am mesmerized by how we can focus and learn a lot about a specific topic; yet, scientific discoveries can make major contributions to our lives. I am excited to work in the laboratory setting that SMRI provides as this experience will supplement my interest in medicine, and teach me the skills needed for a successful career in this field. I find it very impressive that a program like SMRI exists, and am grateful to have the opportunity to get an experience in the lab.
