My name is Sindy Chen and I am graduating from the High School of Telecommunication Arts and Technology located in Brooklyn. I became interested in this program as I saw that it would be a chance to have hands on work in a lab. This proved to be a great opportunity to learn and grown as a young student interested in science. During my time with SMRI, I worked with Grace Nauman studying the genotype of mice to determine they are impacted by the way their breed.
