Jennifer is a 2nd year PhD student in Dr. Rebecca Haeusler’s Lab. Within the Department of Pathology & Cell Biology she studies the role that metals have in metabolic diseases, specifically in the progression of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. She is originally from Putnam County, NY and went on to receive her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami, then spending time as a post-baccalaureate research scholar at UNC Chapel Hill. In her free time she enjoys going for runs in Central Park, cooking new recipes and exploring museums in NYC.
